The Learning and Performance Institute offers open enrolment programs in partnership with global leaders in executive education and professional development.These partners include the following:
- The Schulich Executive Education Centre (SEEC), part of the Schulich School of Business at York University - SEEC provides over 150 premium executive education courses, delivered as 2, 3 or 5 day events, or Masters Certificates with multiple subject modules over an extended period of time.Every year over sixteen thousand professionals and executives take part in SEEC programs, and in-company and customized training is delivered to over 100 companies annually. In 2008, the Schulich School of Business was ranked by the Economist Intelligence Unit as #1 in Canada and #15 globally.
- The Human Resource System Group (HRSG) - HRSG is LPI's partner for our Competency Profiling Certification Workshop. Headquartered in Ottawa, HRSG is a recognized leader in the field of competency-based HR management, and their flagship talent management software, i-SkillSuite™, is the culmination of more than 200 competency projects conducted for clients since inception.
We categorize both our open enrolment and in-house offerings by Centre of Excellence. Our extended network, including 11 Canadian university affiliates as well as private consulting and training firms, contribute to the educational standards, research and industry best practices of these communities of practice. This network is the largest of its kind in Canada - offering an unparalleled level of capacity for open enrolment seminars, custom programs and thought leadership.
Within each Centre of Excellence, we offer:
- Masters Certification - featuring a minimum of 90 hours of education upgrading in our certificate programs
- Specialized short courses and action-learning
- Alumni networking events, current research, plus briefings on issues facing your industry
- National conferences and forums to bring managers from similar industries together
- Sponsored research into industry relevant trends and practices, that will be shared within the community
