Masters Certificate in Business Analysis
"Questions are the answer." - Tony Robbins
Many of the problems associated with projects are related to eliciting and managing user requirements. The Masters Certificate in Business Analysis, from the Schulich Executive Education Centre (SEEC), equips you with the knowledge and techniques to plan, elicit, communicate, analyze, model, validate and manage user requirements through the project life cycle. The result: projects with cost savings, accurate time to market, and most importantly, solutions that meet the organization's business needs.
Whether you are a Business Analyst or a Business Systems Analyst, you need to identify your clients' business needs and ensure the solution meets the business needs. Organizations are realizing that this role is critical to successful projects and the business analysis field is soaring. To take advantage of this hot market or to advance your career in your organization, our Masters Certificate in Business Analysis builds the knowledge and skills of a successful and sought after Business Analyst - a competent and confident professional who achieves successful business solutions and satisfied customers.
Two certification paths are available for program completion:
- The single semester program - our most popular choice - runs 18 days over four to five months, usually in 2 day modules every second week, and typically on alternating Friday/Saturday or Sunday/Monday sessions. This balanced approach draws partly upon a commitment of professional time and partly on a commitment of personal time, in order to accommodate busy professional schedules.
- The self-paced program (or extended certification) enables participants to attend courses one at a time, and to complete the Masters Certificate over a period of up to 3 years. 6 core courses may be completed in any order, followed by two modules that tie all knowledge together in the 'big picture'.
For more information on each of these learning paths, and to choose the one best for you, please see our information page on Certification Options.
